Festival Location

The festival site is located in OL DEER PARK.

The address is Old Deer Park, Richmond, TW9 2SF

 

Public Transport:

By Rail:

Frequent trains to Richmond from Waterloo. www.thetrainline.com

By Underground:

Via The District Line to Richmond Station.

A ten minute walk from Richmond Station – Do not follow signs to Old Deer Park (Public Park), turn right out of the station and walk for approx. 150 meters to Richmond roundabout.

Take the second walk exit from the roundabout across the dual carriage way and turn into Kew road following the signs for Kew Gardens. Stay on this pavement for half a mile, our entrance is on the left.

By BUS:

The No 65 from Ealing or Richmond Station stops outside the entrance.

By Road:

From the south M25 exit at the M3 and drive north towards London join the A316 past Twickenham Stadium on your left. 3 roundabouts after this you will cross the river. Drive to the next roundabout bear left at the lights onto Kew road. The entrance is via double iron gates ½ mile on your left.

From The North M1 or M40 exit at the A406 drive south to the Chiswick roundabout under the flyover.

From The West M4 Exit at Junction 2.

From London Exit at Junction 1.

From the Chiswick roundabout take the A205 signed Rchmond to the traffic lights bear left over Kew Bridge. Bear right at the lights (Browns Restaurant) and follow the Kew Gardens wall until it stops. Overflow parking is via the first gates and the main entrance is round the corner via double gates and plainly signed.

We aim to be an environmentally conscious event so e-tickets are our preference. Please ensure you have a mobile version ready for scanning at the entrance. To ensure easy scanning please turn your phone brightness up. If you prefer to bring a printed copy these will also be accepted.

Sunday 10.00am – 8.00pm

Last entrance on both days is 7pm

Can I bring food & drink?

We have a stellar line-up of some of the UK’s finest food vendors you can buy food from, so no external food & drink should be brought into the festival. There will be bars onsite selling a wide range of alcoholic drinks as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Please note that a Challenge 25 policy is in operation at all bars on site.

Can I Bring A Bag?

All bags brought into the premises shall be subject to search as a
condition of entry.

Audiences will be instructed to bring only small bags where possible, i.e. small day rucksack or small bag measuring no more than 460mm x 330mm x 200mm.

Any larger bags brought into the premises will be subject to an enhanced search, including prams and buggies.

Organisers will reserve the right refuse admission to those with suspicious / unusually large bags, i.e. camping style rucksacks, luggage, suitcases at their discretion.
There shall be no bag storage facilities on site.

Can I bring a water bottle?

Yes, you can bring your plastic or metal water bottle to Marzamemi. Stay hydrated!

Can I bring my dog?

We are very sorry, we are not accepting dogs into the festival this year.

Due to it being family friendly & a food festival, we cannot risk anyone not cleaning up after their dogs.

We will access it again for next year.

Besides food and drink, what other on-site facilities are there?

Box Office

If you are collecting tickets or have any ticketing queries, please visit our on-site Box Office, which is open from 11am to 9pm.

 

Toilets

Toilets, including accessible toilets, are located throughout the site and clearly signposted.

 

Lost property

Lost Property is also handled at the Welfare Tent. Please head there and speak to our Lost Property Manager if you have lost or found an item.

 

Recycling bins

In an effort to reduce the use of plastic at our event, there is a ban on the sale of all single-use plastic bottles on site. You can find recycling bins, alongside general waste  bins, placed at regular intervals.

 

Cash points
There are no cash points available on site. Marzamemi is a cashless event and accepts card payments only.

Can I park at Marzamemi Festival?

Unfortunately not but we have a large car park directly opposite, called Old Deer Park

Can I leave the event and come back later?

You are welcome to leave the event and return. Please keep your ticket on you to return onto the site.

I would like to perform at your Festival. Who should I ask?

Is there seating? Can I bring a chair?

There will be ample seating, so please do not worry about bringing one!

What items are prohibited at Marzamemi?

There are no cloakroom facilities & staff are not permitted to store, hold or look after items.For the safety of the event and attendees, unattended items such as bags, chairs, umbrellas etc, will be promptly removed & disposed of.

The following are considered dangerous and are not permitted. Our security team reserve the right to confiscate prohibited items, including:

  • • Food: except for small amounts of snacks, children’s food & medically
    required food• Alcohol & soft drinks: except for refillable water bottles• Glassware• Illicit drugs or substances• BBQs• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs, or so-called drones)• Portable laser equipment or pens• Gazebos, parasols or picnic furniture, except for small camping chairs• Small day rucksack, diaper bags or small bag measuring no more than
    460mm x 330mm x 200mm are permitted but Large Bags, Rucksacks, and
    Suitcases are not permitted.• Dogs or animals with exception of registered Assistance Dogs on
    presentation of an Assistance Dogs (UK) branded ID book only, no other
    forms of accreditation will be accepted. An example ID book can be
    viewed here.• Fireworks, sparklers, sky lanterns or kites• Bicycles• Professional video, sound or camera equipment• Balloons• Flags• Fancy dress that could be deemed offensive or inflammatory.
What we do with our attendee data?

We may collect and process data about you from the information you have provided on our own website or via Eventbrite. We may also share your information with selected third parties including our sponsors.
